3D Mounting - FLOAT MOUNTING
We often use two types of float mounting,
3d Float On Mount & Float On Mount.
Float mounting is a technique used to make artwork appear as if it is “floating” on top of a mount board.
While other mounting techniques involve placing the artwork directly on top of the mount,
then with 5mm/10mm foam board ( pending on frame ) the artwork is raised off the mount board to create a
3d float mount.
This is a stunning gallery effect.
